Well, the day of departure for the second half of our summer vacation is here, and I can't sleep. I'm too excited to get away from the city and back to the beauty, fresh air, and quiet of the country. Our plans are to spend this first week at Wasa Lake, and the remainder of our vacation around Nelson, BC. Of course, plans can always change in a heartbeat when necessary, but for now, this is our plan.
While we are away, we won't have any access to a computer, so you won't be seeing any new posts here until we get home. But our absence also means that comment moderation is now in effect. We do this to help reduce spam; the less garbage we have to sort through here, the better. We hope you understand, and we hope it won't stop you from dropping by to say hi.
Please remember to extinguish your fires when you leave the site or go to bed. There are more than enough fires burning, right now, thanks to the carelessness of too many campers. In fact, we won't get to have even a small campfire the entire time we're away, because there's a province-wide fire ban in place because of those careless campers.
So please remember to put your fire out when you leave the site or go to bed. Thank you!
Take care, Campers. We'll see you in about 11 days...
