Two more days to go, Campers! Are you ready? We're going to be heading out to the wonderful province of British Columbia! Our first few days will be spent at beautiful
Redstreak Campground, in Kootenay National Park; it's at the top of the hill at the southern end of the town of Radium - remember?

From there, we'll be heading for
Birch Grove campground, which is about five or so minutes west of the Balfour ferry landing; it's almost exactly between the village of Kaslo (east) and the city of Nelson (west). You have to pay close attention to the road signs; it's not a campground that's advertised on huge billboards. We may stop at
Yahk for a night or two before continuing the journey to Birch Grove, but we'll see how things go; it depends on weather, and how we're feeling.
At this point in time, we have no set plans for anywhere after Birch Grove. We're just going to let the universe lead us to our next camping spot.

That's fine with us. British Columbia is a huge province, and we haven't explored even a quarter of it; where we'll end up after Birch Grove is anyone's guess.

You see, Campers,
this is what camping is really all about. It's not about making plans to stay in specific places, it's about following the spirit of adventure; about just
being. It's about sluffing off the chains of daily life and becoming one with life, the universe, and nature. Whether for a weekend or a few weeks, camping is all about reconnecting with life, nature, and ourselves; letting the universe guide us is an integral part of that reconnection process.
Now, off you go. You have more packing to do!
